FRP petroleum storage tanks are the latest and superior alternative for the existing conventional petroleum storage tanks for petroleum products all over the world. These tanks are set to bring about a techno commercial revolution in the Indian industry eliminating all the disadvantages of steel petroleum storage tanks currently being used. ​
Sintex FRP underground petroleum storage tanks shall be made to UL (Underwriters Laboratories) UL-1316 standard which is a stringent international process quality and product performance standard for this type of tanks.
100% corrosion resistant inside and outside. Does not require internal or external linings unlike steel tanks. Eliminates the need of cathodic protection.
Sintex tanks are manufactured with integrally cast ribs and dished ends design which makes it structurally strong.
Tanks are composed of premium resin, glass and specially treated silica and this matrix is compatible with most of petroleum products.
FRP tanks can be supplied in single / double wall secondary containment construction
Light weight, easy to transport and install, eliminates the need of RCC bunkers and results in cost saving
